Yummy Valentine’s Day Treats!

Sometimes I’m amazed at the unexpected ways fate manages to bring people into your life. If I hadn’t taken the time to flip through one of the circulars that comes on Junk Mail Thursday I never would have spotted the half page ad for The Cookie Chew and never would have connected with it’s owner, Liz Chou.

Liz was an accountant before putting away her calculator and tying on an apron. She started baking as way to relieve stress. Liz has taken classic cookie recipes and taken them to an entirely different level by “stuffing” them with fillings like S’mores, orange chocolate coconut and mint chocolate creme.*drool*

Liz also came up with a line of Cocktail Cookies like Chocolate Raspberry Martini, White Russian, Cosmopolitan and Coconut Lime Mojito. *more drool* I think these would be perfect at a book club meeting or Bunco night.

Truffie Pops

The Valentine’s Day special is for a bouquet of Truffie Pops for $10* and a pound of Cookie Cubes are only $14.

I’m so glad I didn’t toss my junk mail straight into the recycling the way I normally do!

Liz and her company partner Jen are expanding into corporate gifting, special events, and weddings favors. The Cookie Chew takes online and phone orders, delivers within downtown San Diego and ships cookies.

*Please contact Liz for Valentine’s Day order deadlines and shipping information.
