Build It With Your Kids On Saturdays At Lowe’s and Home Depot

Your local Home Depot and Lowe’s both have super fun free kid’s workshops on Saturday mornings (Lowe’s is every other Saturday and Home Depot is the first Saturday of every month) where kids can build a  project (usually pre-fabricated and ready to go) and gain not only a beginning knowledge of real tools, but also a sense of accomplishment and confidence!  These projects are geared for children, ages 4-11 years old. Did I mention these workshops are free?!

At your child’s very first workshop, they will receive an apron (just like the grown up employee’s wear) and a set of goggles to take home and bring back for every project they do! Upon completion of their project, they receive a certificate and a patch or pin to adhere to their apron.

(every project comes with parent & child friendly instructions!)

As a non-handy parent, I think this opportunity is simply wonderful and it allows me to provide them with the experience, without…ahem…being handy myself! To sign up for a kid’s workshop, visit your local Home Depot in person or Lowe’s online or in person as space is limited from week to week.

Welcome back! Have you submitted your blog or business to be listed yet?
